Personal and family records
Expenses, income and plans in one budget
Budget helps you keep financial records: track account balances, organize purchases into categories, plan future expenses and follow savings goals. You can also share a budget with your family.
You can read this description and guide without signing in.
What you can do
Accounts and currencies
Create separate accounts for a card, cash or savings. Choose a currency and starting balance; recorded transactions then update the balance. Use a transfer to record moving money between your accounts.
Expenses and income
Record an amount, date, account and category. Expenses can include the purchase, store and tags; income can include its source. Search and filters help you find a transaction in a selected period.
Plans and savings
Set monthly amounts by category and compare your plan with actual records. Planned expenses support a date and recurrence. For a savings goal, enter a target amount and keep a history of contributions.
A shared budget
The Family section shows members and invitations. Permissions determine who can change records and manage the budget: an owner manages access, an editor changes permitted data, and a viewer reads it. Available actions and limits depend on the member's role and subscription.
Reports and exports
Review monthly income, expenses and balances, and see spending by category. Export transaction history as CSV. Advanced reports, period comparisons and XLSX are available with the Family subscription features.
Spreadsheet history
The budget owner can prepare a CSV or XLSX file using a template and preview it before importing. Import replaces ordinary expenses and income in the shared budget, so save the existing history and review the confirmation carefully.
Getting started
After signing in, follow these steps to enter your first records and check the results. The web app also includes guides for its individual sections.
Add an account and starting balance
Open Accounts and choose a clear name, currency and starting balance. Create a separate account for each place you keep money. When editing an existing account, remember that you change its starting balance; the current balance also includes recorded transactions.
Record an expense and an incoming payment
In Expenses or Income, choose the account and enter an amount, date and category. The amount field includes a calculator. If the transaction uses another currency, check its original amount and the actual change to the account.
Example. Record an 850 RUB grocery purchase as an expense from the appropriate card account in the groceries category. Record a move from that card to cash as an account transfer so that it does not increase reported expenses.
Set a monthly plan
In Budget, select a month and enter planned income or expenses by category. In Planned expenses, add a future payment with a date. Set recurrence for a regular payment; once it is paid, the plan moves to its next date.
Review shared access
Before inviting someone in Family, check the joining option: transfer existing data or clear it. Combining data requires category mapping. Shared-budget members can see its records within their permissions.
Prepare an import if you already have records
The owner opens Settings → Import from Excel / CSV and downloads a template. Replace its examples with your rows, use existing account and category names, dates in YYYY-MM-DD format and amounts in the account's currency. The app first previews the file; replacement happens after confirmation.
Replacement removes existing ordinary expenses and income, including their photos. Accounts, categories, monthly budgets, transfers and goal contributions are preserved. Purchases linked to the replaced expenses become planned again. The change affects the whole family.
Check your reports and save an export
Select a period in Reports. CSV lets you take transaction history into a spreadsheet. With access to advanced reports, refine the selection using filters; XLSX includes a summary, history, formulas and a comparison with the previous period.
Web and Android
Web works with the server
Using your budget in a browser requires an internet connection and an account with server synchronization. Signing in to the same account on your phone opens that shared server budget. Your browser may retain preferences and unfinished forms.
Android supports local mode
You can keep financial records on your device without server synchronization. To access those records through the web app, use server mode and the corresponding account. Local records do not appear in a browser automatically.
Frequently asked questions
How do I sign in for the first time?
Open the sign-in page to see the available authentication methods. Account creation depends on the current registration settings. Local Android records do not require a server account; an account is needed for the web app and server synchronization.
What does the Family subscription include?
The subscription enables advanced reports, XLSX, photo uploads and ad-free use. Member, goal and plan limits follow the selected plan's terms. The subscription section shows current features and restrictions. Purchases are managed in Android.
Do I have to allow advertising?
Yandex ads are enabled only through a separate choice. Declining does not restrict the service's features. Web uses one small placement at the end of the dashboard; Android uses a compact banner. Change permission in advertising settings. An active subscription with the ad-free feature hides these placements. Read the data policy for processing details and the cookie page for browser storage information.
How do I delete an account?
After signing in, open Privacy and data. Shared-budget records may remain available to other members; review renewal and administrator responsibilities before deletion. The account deletion page explains the process and how to contact the operator.
Where can I report a problem?
Find the developer's email in the contact section below. Include your platform and the steps that led to the error. A description is enough for an initial request; do not send your password.
